Concept

​

Situated within a natural landscape on gently sloping terrain, AU House is conceived as a refined and minimal residential design. Drawing inspiration from the distinctive atmosphere of Çanakkale, the house aims to establish a timeless and serene balance between architecture and nature.

Spatial Organization

​

With a total of 150 m² of net enclosed space, the house comprises 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.

• Lower Level: Hosts shared living areas such as the kitchen and living room, which seamlessly extend to the barbecue area and garden, encouraging outdoor social life.

• Upper Level: Contains the bedrooms, directly connected to the pool area, ensuring both privacy and a strong visual relationship with the natural surroundings.​

Architectural Language and Materiality

​

AU House is designed with a harmonious blend of natural stone, wood, and modern forms. Its minimalist geometry and natural tones allow the building to merge with the landscape. The linear façade, framed with wide openings, extends the interior toward the pool and garden. The careful selection of materials emphasizes purity, continuity, and timelessness in the living experience.

Relationship with Nature

The house is planned to establish a strong dialogue with its natural surroundings.

• The open-plan layout is enriched by water features, soft vegetation, and permeable boundaries, allowing daily life to flow seamlessly outdoors.

• A waterfall cascading from the upper-level pool adds dynamic character to the garden.

• The outdoor firepit and seating area foster a warm and social atmosphere.​
