The project site is located in Muratpaşa, one of Antalya’s most established districts, characterized by a strong sense of urban continuity. The area offers a highly suitable urban ground for mixed-use developments through its dense residential fabric, well-defined commercial corridors, and an active public life maintained throughout the year.

The climatic conditions of Muratpaşa play a decisive role in shaping the architectural approach, positioning the relationship between open and semi-open spaces as a fundamental design component. In response, the building is conceived with a system of horizontal overhangs and a permeable façade that support shading, natural ventilation, and controlled daylight—key requirements of the Mediterranean climate. The fluid massing is therefore not merely a formal gesture, but an architectural response to the climatic and urban characteristics of the region.

Commercial units located at the lower levels establish a direct relationship with Muratpaşa’s lively street life, reinforcing public engagement and urban vitality. In contrast, the residential units above are set back and organized within horizontally articulated volumes, providing a calmer and more controlled living environment despite the project’s central urban location.

Through its positioning, the project supports the sustainability of commercial uses integrated into daily urban life while offering residential users a central, accessible, and high-quality living environment. In this sense, the building is conceived as a contemporary architectural intervention that both aligns with Muratpaşa’s existing urban fabric and introduces a new reference point within the district.
